Recycling Convenience Centers

For your convenience, portable roll off recycling containers are located at various locations within the County. See schedule below for days and locations of the containers. Recylable glass and plastic are accepted at the containers.

Effective March 16, 2009 Pamlico County Recycling Bins will be located in the following areas only. The bins will remain in place seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

• Arapahoe      Gary’s Restaurant
• Bayboro        Behind Manager’s Office
• Grantsboro    Moose Lodge
• Oriental         Ball Park
• Reelsboro      5656 Hwy 55
• Vandemere    Credle’s Station

            Additionally, you can still take your recycling to the Transfer Station in Grantsboro on Hwy 306 North.

             Hours for the Transfer Station are:

             Monday – Friday    8:30 a.m. until   4:00 p.m.

             Saturdays             7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
