Under the general supervision of the Recreation Department Director, will work within all divisions of the Pamlico County Recreation Department to perform variety of office support and administrative tasks.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, presenting, organizing, implementing, and evaluating youth sports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensures that personnel have adequate supplies and equipment. Youth sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, t-ball, and flag football.
• Monitor facility use.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Other duties/responsibilities will include officiating, monitoring recreational programs.
• Setting up activity equipment such as tables, electronics, and game and event sites.
• Assisting with light clean up.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Basic computer skills, knowledge of Recreational activities, comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Must poses valid NC Driver’s license.
